Thailand’s Natural WATERFALL PLAYGROUND!! Swimming + Lunch in Satun, Thailand!
Mark Abroad
SATUN, THAILAND – Welcome to Satun, a beautiful province in Southern Thailand on the Andaman sea and bordering Malaysia. Along with spectacular islands, delicious food, and amazingly friendly people, Satun is home to a number of spectacular waterfalls. About an hour drive from Satun city is Wang Sai Thong Waterfall (น้ำตกวังสายทอง), a waterfall I had on my list to visit – so I was excited to finally have a chance to visit. #Satun #travelvlog #waterfall
Wang Sai Thong Waterfall (น้ำตกวังสายทอง) – Price – 200 THB ($6.60) entrance (just 20 THB for Thai citizens). Just a 100 meter walk from the parking lot and you’ll reach the beautiful waterfalls. The waterfall is not a huge drop waterfall, but it’s rather a series of cascading waterfalls and baths of water that have naturally formed. It really is a natural waterfall playground and bath tub. An amazing place to hike around, swim, and splash in the water. I really enjoyed it.
Restoran Negara – Next we drove back to Satun city, about an hour drive and went to Restoran Negara, a central restaurant and tea shop right in the heart of the city. It was Friday, so quite a few restaurants were closed in the city so we just stopped here because it was open. We ordered a number of dishes, and overall the food was alright. The roti and the teh tarik were a little sweet, but very good. Total price – 640 THB ($21.12)
And that wraps up day one in Satun, and I would highly recommend Wang Sai Thong Waterfall (น้ำตกวังสายทอง) as one of the top things to do when you’re in Satun!
Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!
