At Khavar Khanoom’s restaurant in Gilan (border of Mazandaran) eating Gilaci food: a Zesty Mirza Ghassemi (smoked aubergine with tomatoes, eggs, garlic and saffron (I put saffron in mine). Mahi Sefid (white fish), Kabbab Torsh (marinated beef in pomegranate molasses and walnuts and garlic), aged pickled garlic, Baghali Ghatogh (fav beans or Pacheh Baghala with dill, garlic and eggs), zeytoon parvardeh (local olives with pomegranate molasses and walnuts and Choochagh, a local wild herb), and fragrant locally grown rice. YUMMY!
